Fighting Suicide Headaches with Potassium

Diagnosed with chronic cluster headaches I quickly decided that I would keep a food journal and dramatically change what I was eating per every 2 weeks. Consistently I would have have less clusters when eating foods with potassium in it.

So I bought a supplement and now every time I feel one coming on, I take one. With in 10 minutes my clusters lessen if no diminish.                            I have been using Potassium for 3 months now!

I have in the past taken ( ) for Cluster headaches.

1. Oxygen

2. Injections

3. Triptans

4. Oxedodine

My symptoms before and during a cluster headache:

The day before and/or right before, slurred speech and its hard to put words together. Nose runs on one side, tooth pain, jaw pain, back of neck, both frontal lobs or one side, slow breathing, continues movement. Sometimes panic attacks occur during a cluster headache.

Homemade alfredo Fettuccine with fresh basil

Its that time of the year for basil! I just love the taste of olive garden but not the expense; so here is a recipe of mine that will give you the best of both worlds.

What you need:

1 cup of graded parm

1 1/2 cups of milk

1/3 cup of flour

3 chicken breasts (cooked and chopped into small pieces)

1/2 stick of butter

9 regular sized fresh basil leaves

1 box of fettuccine noodles

*Also I like one diced tomato

Cook noodles and set aside

Take a large sauce pan and add butter and wait till melted

Then sift in flour and increment milk until gone while you stir with your whisk on medium to high burner

Whisk until the mixture becomes thick

Add diced basil and chicken (tomato if wanted)

Add mixture to noodle

Stir and surve

Enjoy!

 

Home Made Hummus

Step 1:

Combine the following in a food processor or (blender):

2 cans garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained Or cook your own
½ cup tahini
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
juice of two lemons
½ bunch cilantro
½ cucumber, peeled and cubed
a dash of pickle juice
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. each salt and paprika

Step 2:

Process until smooth, adding a little water if necessary to move things along.

Step 3:

Garnish with parsley and serve with pita chips.

 

Chocolate Oreo Cake for Mothers Day!

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

Ingredients:

1 Cup flour

2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

3 eggs

1 2/3 cups sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup Hellmann’s or Best

Foods Real or Light Mayonnaise or low fat

Mayonnaise Dressing

1 1/3 cups water

Makes one 9-inch layer cake

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour bottoms of 1 (9×11/2-inch) round cake pans.

In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder; set aside.

In  large bowl with mixer at high speed, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla for about 3 minutes or until smooth.

Reduce speed and add mayonnaise until blended.

Add four mixture  and water  alternating between the two. Pour into cake pans and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

 

Oreo Frosting!!

2/3rds sleeve of Oreos crushed

cream cheese

1 stick butter

powdered sugar

milk

 

Cheap and Easy Lunch or Dinner for the family! Pizza Bagels!!!

Kids LOVE Pizza and mothers love cheap and easy meals for there kids; so why not pizza bagels?

split bagels in half on to baking sheet

For the sauce mix:

1 can of tomato sauce

2 tbs oregano

3 tsp garlic powder

1 tbs basil

__________________________________________________________

Spread sauce on bagels

Add cheddar cheese

Top it off with 4 pieces of pepperoni for each bagel put it in the oven

11minutes at 350 enjoy!

Easy Grilled Cilantro Honey Mustered Chicken

Ingredients:                                                               Serves 4

4 skinless chicken breast

1/3 cup chopped Fresh cilantro

1/3 cup mustard

4 TBS mayonaise

2 tsp pepper

1 tsp salt

2 TBS granulated sugar

1 TBS Honey

Start chicken on the grill on the first side. Once the first side is done then spread the mustard mixture on before flipping and then apply to the other side. Chicken is fully cooked when it comes to the temperature of 170 to 175.
